This is the last of these little guys for now. Moving on to other scenes. But I really like the hills in this one. I'm also happiest with these clouds. The balance just seems right.

My husband and I recently headed up north for a few days to spend time with family. My husband's grandparents own a fabulous place on Lake Michigan. We were sitting out on the deck when this storm began it's way across the lake. I took several pictures to practice painting clouds and lake colors.

Sunlit Sails

The sails of this boat glow with the soft golden hues of the fading day. The world is cast in pastel like colors and the calming roll of the waves lulls us to sleep.
