Show Me Watcha Got!

So to everyone else I know May feels like a LOOOOONG way off. And in the mean time I should really be thinking Christmas. But to me...spring is only 90 paintings away. Next May and June, I will be showing my work at Birmingham/Bloomfield Art Center in south east Michigan (as well as a few other shows). The show  in Birmingham is entitled "Simple Roots" and I'm looking for interesting barn and farm scenes to paint.
This is where I'm looking for input. If you have a great photograph of a country scene and you'd like to see it turned into one of my watercolors just shoot me an email!

Hunters Point

Another view of Hunter's Point, overlooking Lake Superior. A beautiful spot to stand or sit for a while and just let the sun wash over you. It's so peaceful and quiet.
To purchase this painting contact me by email at: sarahtuleart@yahoo.com or bid in the Daily Paintworks auction by clicking here.
Also, I wanted to let everyone know I will be participating in Kalamazoo Michigan's December Art Hop Event. I'm very excited to announce that my work will be shown at "Earthly Delights" downtown on Kalamazoo Mall for the month of December. There will be an artist reception on Friday, December 7th from 5-9pm. The event is open to the public and is really a lot of fun. Please stop by! I'd love to meet you!

Hunter's Point North

Continuing with a few more paintings from my Copper Harbor series. This is a painting of "Hunters Point" on the north side looking out over Lake Superior and an incoming storm. The wind has stopped and there is a calm as the storm moves closer, the temperature begins to drop and in the stillness of the north all you can hear is the lapping of waves against the rocks.
To purchase this painting contact me by email at: sarahtuleart@yahoo.com or you can bid in the Daily Paintworks auction beginning November 21st by clicking here.

Fisherman's Daughter

This is another intriguing place located in Copper Harbor. It's called The Fisherman's Daughter. They have a little store where they sell all sorts of jewelry and crafts made by the owner....the fisherman's daughter! Attached to the store is a fish market and here you will find everything from fillets to fish sausage. (Pretty tasty stuff! ). I believe they also charter boats that will take you out into Lake Superior to do some fishing of your own!

Copper Harbor Light

SOLD

Last year my husband and I traveled to the very end of Michigan. We drove all the way up the Keweenaw Peninsula to a gorgeous town called Copper Harbor. We spent a blissful four days there exploring the sights and searching for agates along the shoreline of Lake Superior.
This is a painting of the Copper Harbor Lighthouse, seen across the bay from the visitor parking.
To purchase, contact me by email at: sarahtuleart@yahoo.com or bid in the Daily Paintworks auction by clicking here.
