Commissions

I have done commissions for many different types of events, portraits, pet portraits, homes, vacation memories and more! I'd love to hear your ideas!

Commission Procedures:

First:

• When you are interested in commissioning me to create a painting for you, contact me and we will discuss the event, your budget, time frame and I'll answer any questions you may have about the process. Please keep in mind at different times of the year commissions may take longer (such as around the holidays where they kind of pile on). 
• When you have decided to go ahead with the commission, I will send a contract, showing our agreement and you will pay a 50% deposit which is non-refundable. 
• I will begin sketches after I have the photos (either yours or mine) and the deposit is secure. 

Photos:

• We can work from either a selection of your photos or I can take some. If I'm working from yours, please send me a photo indicating who/what you would like included in the scene. Multiple photos help me to see distinguishing features, details of clothing, background etc. 
• Once we've talked about what you want I'll create a sketch or two for you to approve. 

The Painting:

• After the initial sketch is approved by you, I will start painting. 
• As I work through the painting, I'll send photos for your approval and up to two changes can be discussed. 
• Upon your final approval of the painting, I will send an invoice for the balance due for the painting and shipping and fees. I will safely ship the painting when the invoice is paid.

6"x8".............................$95.00

8"x10"............................$120.00

11"x14"..........................$150.00

12"x16"..........................$200.00

16"x20"..........................$500.00

15"x22"..........................$500.00

If you'd like a different sized piece (such as a 10"x20" or 5"x9") the price will be adjusted based on the above information. **PRICES ARE FOR MATTED WORKS ONLY. FRAMING IS ADDITIONAL**

YOU NEED TO KNOW:

As the Artist I retain all rights to the painting. You may NOT reproduce my work for purpose of sale.

I am allowed to use the work to advertise unless otherwise agreed upon. 

Prices are for UNFRAMED watercolor and pen on paper. 

Prices include consultation time, sketches, all painting supplies and time. If travel is required, gas will be added to the total cost.
