I recently joined Clinton County Arts Gallery in St. John's Michigan! 

Last week I dropped off several larger framed pieces and these fun little vegetable minis!

Introduction To Watercolors In Walloon Lake

There's still time to sign up for my Introduction To Watercolors class at Elvyn Lea Lodge in Walloon Lake! The class is Sunday morning on June 28th from 9-11am.

It will be a wonderful, quiet time of the morning to explore the world of watercolors. I will walk you through the very basics, covering materials and techniques. You will walk away from the class with two finished paintings and the knowledge and materials to create more!

Charlevoix Class

I just got home from teaching an Introduction To Watercolors class today at Charlevoix Circle Of Arts. If you're interested in taking a class check out my "Workshops and Classes" tab at the top of the screen! 

On Monday I return to teach again in Republic, near Marquette Michigan. I also have plans in the works to come back and teach in Charlevoix and in June I'll be teaching in Boyne at Elvyn Lea Lodge. 

I'm working on several paintings at the moment so check back soon to see those! 

Republic Watercolor Class

Last night I taught an Introduction To Watercolors class at Park City Gallery in Republic Michigan. We had so much fun! It was a nice way to fend off a cold winter night here in the U.P. Can not wait for spring to get here!

Charisma Salon Workshop

Don't forget I have a watercolor workshop tomorrow at Charisma Salon in Traverse City! There is still an opening or two and we'd love to have you join us! The more the merrier right? 

We'll be covering basic techniques and you'll walk away with a painting created by you! All materials are supplied so all you have to do is show up! Cost is $35. Time is 1-3:30pm.

I like sitting in the gazebo in the park and watching the rain on warm summer days. I enjoy the water drumming gently on the roof and trickling down the woodwork. Its a comfortable feeling for me. 

 The gazebo also plays host to summer concerts in the park, picnicers and wedding ceremonies. 

I'm currently working on a schedule for watercolor workshops and classes for this autumn/winter. I'm planning workshops and/or classes in Petoskey, Charlevoix, Gaylord and Sault Ste. Marie. If you know of a place in your town that would host a workshop I'd be glad to come to you! Just leave a comment and I'll see if I can work something out!

May 24th Workshop

On May 24th from 5-8pm I will be teaching a beginner's watercolor workshop at Northgoods in Petoskey, MI. We will be covering basic techniques and you will go home with a a finished product. We usually have a pretty good time! Great company, snacks and art! Who wouldn't love it?
