This barn caught my attention on my recent visit to my grandparents house. It's located outside of Battle Creek and has aged well. Acres of field surround this barn and all manner of equipment was piled up to the left among the trees. I chose to leave those old skeletons out and bring in the contrast of the blue tractor peeking around the silo. This painting will be shown with my Simple Roots series but is also available for sale.
