Grand Portal

"Grand Portal"
8"x10" Original Watercolor And Pen On Paper
Available soon at Fuzzy Boyak Welcome Center in Munising!

This was an interesting painting to do. With the rocky cliff taking up most of it, I tried to make it interesting. The rock along the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is beautiful and full of colors from all the minerals. This brave little kayaker ventured out into Lake Superior to get a closer look.

Cleaning Up

I went through my studio the other day and decided I really need more space. My career has outgrown the boundaries of my tiny work space. So to begin, I decided to get rid of paintings that have been hanging around for a while. Check out my Daily Paintworks site to find my paintings at reduced rates.
If the auction for a painting you want has not yet begun contact me by email to purchase and I can cancel the auction for your sale. (sarahtuleart@yahoo.com)
This particular painting "Stream Kayaker" will be available for auction on October 9th. To bid click here.
Several of my other paintings are also available so be sure to check back often and see whats new!

A Daring Trip

Over the holiday my husband and I took the boat out and went for an afternoon tour of the straits. While we were out, we saw several kayakers, including this one who claimed to be returning home to St. Ignace. I admired her determination. The Straits of Mackinaw aren't exactly "friendly" waters. I hope she made it back safe and sound.

The Tired Kayaker

Just finished this painting that I'm quite fond of, of a kayaker who has grown weary of paddling. It's one of my bigger pieces at 10"x20."  This painting will be included in my September show in Kalamazoo entitled; "Great Lakes, Great Water." For more information click on the "Look For Me" tab at the top of the screen.
