Have I mentioned I like cross country skiing? I guess it's been on my mind lately. 

Here in northern Michigan we're trapped somewhere between the end of fall and the beginning of winter. It's starting to pull more to the winter side of things but every once in a while we get a nice sunny "warm" day. Nature is teasing us.

Tonight at Northgoods in Petoskey a group show entitled "Colors Of Autumn" opens. Talented local artists will be displaying their fall inspired pieces. Come and see them! The show runs through the end of the month. 

This is my piece that I will be entering into the show. I really enjoy walks through the autumn woods and birch trees are just the most beautiful thing come fall. The white against all the bright colors just adds to the crispness.
